I am a dedicated researcher and student with academic foundation in Geography, Climate Change, and Sustainable Development. As an Erasmus Scholar currently pursuing a master's degree in Digital Earth at Paris-Lodron University in Salzburg, Austria and Palacky University Olomouc, Czech Republic. I specialize in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), spatial analysis, and advanced geospatial tools. With hands-on experience in utilizing Copernicus data and technologies, I am passionate about applying my technical and analytical expertise to drive initiatives focused on climate resilience and sustainable development. My goal is to contribute innovative solutions that bridge the gap between geospatial research and actionable strategies for a more sustainable future.

This interactive story map presents real-time emergency incidents across California, with a focus on thermal hotspots and active fire activity detected via VIIRS satellite data. It visualizes ongoing wildfires, thermal anomalies, and emergency response areas, offering users an up-to-date spatial understanding of California's fire landscape. By integrating satellite observations with local incident reports, the map helps highlight the severity and spread of current emergencies—making it a powerful tool for awareness, analysis, and rapid response planning.

My research examines snow cover dynamics in the Austrian Alps, focusing on: Snow Cover Variability and Long-Term Trends: Analyzing changes in snow cover extent and duration across different seasons and years. Snow-Albedo Feedback and Regional Climate Impact: Investigating how variations in snow cover influence albedo, surface temperature, and broader climatic conditions. Temperature and Precipitation Trends: Assessing the relationship between snow cover changes and climate variables, including rising temperatures, shifting precipitation patterns, and extreme weather events.
My research investigates the impact of climate change on smallholder farmers, with a particular focus on: Perceived Impacts of Climate Change on Agriculture: Exploring how smallholder farmers perceive the effects of climate change on their farming practices. Factors Influencing Farmers' Perceptions: Identifying the key factors that shape farmers' views on the impacts of climate change. Climate Change Adaptation Practices: Examining the adaptation strategies adopted by farmers to mitigate the effects of climate change. Determinants of Adaptation Practice Adoption: Analyzing the factors that influence the adoption of different climate change adaptation practices among farmers.
My research investigates the gender-specific vulnerabilities within agricultural practices due to climate change impacts. It explores the differences in how men and women perceive and respond to climate change, particularly in relation to autonomous adaptation strategies in farming. Additionally, the study examines gender-based disparities in participation and engagement in climate change adaptation initiatives, aiming to understand how gender influences the adoption of strategies that mitigate the effects of climate change on agricultural communities. By addressing these gendered aspects, the research seeks to inform more inclusive and effective climate adaptation policies and practices.
